Natural Deodorant: A Review of Wild

[Prefer to listen/watch than read, see the video on YouTube here]

I have tried many a natural deodorant in my time and although there were eventually a couple did a good enough job, I basically gave up on using deodorant altogether (I also had a go at making my own and just couldn't get the burn vs. deodorising right).

However, recently whilst scrolling Instagram I kept seeing adverts and bloggers posting about Wild. Lots of people were saying how great the brand is, and even better, how good the product was, so I thought I'd give it a go! I chose the £25 case + 3x refills option, and here's a few highlights on why I really think this is the best natural deodorant you can find:

Packaging: The box it came in was the postal box, so no double packaging here, tick! The case itself is aluminium which is of course recyclable, and recycled plastic so no virgin plastic resource used. It's super lightweight and easy to use. The refills are paper, so compostable when finished.

Company: Wild's mission is to change the throwaway culture that still very much exists in our bathrooms. The company are committed to offsetting their operational impact and have partnered with a climate action organisation to contribute to reforestation projects. With its ingredients and packaging credentials, they have created "the world’s first zero-plastic deodorant refill product".

Ingredients: Vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, dermatologically tested and free from artificial fragrance, parabens, aluminium and sulphates, this formula is simple but winning. Super kind both on the skin, and when absorbed it's ideal for natural skincare lovers.

Performance: VERY important when it comes to deodorant. I like to think that I'm not a particularly sweaty person, but when the temperature goes above 24 degrees in England, it tests every British person. I was really impressed with the performance: I didn't feel sweaty, no odour, and no grease or burn from application.

How do you get one?

Go to and start by choosing one of four colours (I chose Coral), choose your option to either subscribe or one-off trial, then pick your scents. I chose the Orange Zest, Rose Blush and Coconut Dreams.

Good to note: these are totally unisex, my partner bought one too within 2 days of mine arriving, even better they have discounts for referrals at the moment so tell your friends!

Have you tried Wild yet? Let me know what you think!

*I purchased this product myself and this review is independent.
